The Aligarh Renaissance Publishing House
The Aligarh Renaissance has taken a firm stand against The Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 by submitting a comprehensive recommendation report to the Joint Secretary (JM) of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. In this report, we have strongly advocated for the complete rejection of the proposed amendments, citing concerns over the potential negative impact on Waqf properties, the infringement of constitutional protections, and the lack of sufficient consultation with key stakeholders.
We believe that meaningful reform should focus on addressing corruption and the misuse of power within Waqf Boards, rather than diminishing the integrity and purpose of Waqf institutions.
Our submission reflects our commitment to preserving the sanctity of Waqf properties and upholding the values of transparency and ethical governance.
